Warmer weather means it's time to dig, but in the springtime, projects are slowed down by mud.

Mud clogs trenching buckets, sticks to the tracks and wheels, making a difficult job for operators even more challenging.

The best way to get out of the mud is to not get stuck in the first place. This can be done by marking areas where machines will likely get stuck...

Making an adjustment doesn't mean you can run your machine for days or weeks without re-checking tension.  In fact it's a good idea to check tension as conditions change on the job site.
