AI Generated Image, a robot reaching toward a jobsite in the future

The Future is Coming, and it's Autonomous!

What if you could quickly automate routine tasks on the jobsite? That's exactly what Polymath Robotics and Hard-Line, two pioneering tech companies, have teamed up to achieve. Their collaboration has led to the development of a groundbreaking plug-and-play solution for autonomous dozing.

The autonomous dozer, created through the integration of Hard-Line's hardware and remote operation capabilities with Polymath's autonomous navigation tools, is set to revolutionize jobsites and mines by efficiently performing repetitive tasks such as dewatering, planting, and heap leaching.

Safety and reliability are paramount in this cutting-edge solution. The autonomous dozer is equipped with emergency stop functionality and geofencing features, ensuring it stays clear of hazardous areas. Furthermore, the vehicle-agnostic hardware and software can be seamlessly installed on any new or existing model bulldozer from any manufacturer.

At ConExpo 2023, Polymath Robotics and Hard-Line showcased elements of their autonomous dozer solution, impressing attendees by enabling teleoperation of a dozer located in Ontario, Canada, from Las Vegas. This demonstration highlighted the immense potential of their collaboration and the future of autonomous heavy equipment.

Hard-Line, with over 25 years of expertise in automation, teleoperation, and remote-control solutions for heavy equipment, is committed to improving safety by allowing personnel to operate machinery from a safe distance.

On the other hand, Polymath Robotics, established in 2021, specializes in developing safety-critical autonomous navigation software for heavy machinery. Their software platform and accompanying SDK enable heavy equipment owners to incorporate autonomous functions into their vehicles operating in closed environments. Operators can simulate machine movements in a test environment before deploying them to the physical vehicle.

As part of their collaboration, Hard-Line has joined Polymath's network of hardware integration partners, while Polymath has become part of Hard-Line's software integration ecosystem. This synergy strengthens their respective capabilities and brings autonomous solutions to the heavy equipment industry through their partner ecosystems.

Stefan Seltz-Axmacher, CEO of Polymath Robotics, expressed his excitement about the collaboration, stating, "We are thrilled to add Hard-Line to our network of hardware integration partners and join their software ecosystem. Our collaboration brings autonomous solutions to the heavy equipment industry as part of each other's partner ecosystems."

Ryan Siggelkow, SVP of Technology at Hard-Line, echoed the sentiment, saying, "We are proud to have Polymath join our software integration ecosystem, in addition to collaborating on an autonomous solution for remote Dozer operations. We see these solutions as a way to further enhance productivity and efficiency by bringing remote autonomous dozing to the market."

The implementation of the autonomous dozer is currently underway, with pre-orders being accepted. Shipping is expected in the second half of 2023, marking a significant milestone in the adoption of autonomous technology in the heavy equipment sector.

The collaboration between Polymath Robotics and Hard-Line has resulted in a groundbreaking solution for autonomous dozing. By leveraging their expertise in hardware integration, remote operation capabilities, and autonomous navigation software, they are driving the industry forward and revolutionizing the way tasks are performed on the jobsite. The future is here, and it's autonomous
