For months the diesel industry has been dealing with a major shortage with both the Cummins OE an Holset aftermarket electronic actuator inventory.
Among the actuators most burdened by these shortages are ones used on EPA2010-up Holset HE300VG series VGT turbochargers, including 12-volt actuator kits 5601240H/HX/NX and 5579127H.
With no end in sight, ConEquip can help ease the burden by providing a short-term alternative by offering used replacement actuator kits. The kit, using part number IHL172-032-0120, is an acceptable replacement for both groups of 12-volt HE300VG actuator part numbers mentioned above.
These used actuators have been cleaned and checked for basic electronic communication, but have not been remanufactured or dynamically tested. The sole purpose of the used actuators is to give customer an option until the shortage situation is resolved. Once supply of new and factory reman actuators begins to rebound, the used offering will be discontinued.
Part number IHL172-032-0120 will carry a 45 day warranty from date of invoice. If the customer is not satisfied with the used actuator it can be returned for a replacement or credit.
Claims for labor or progressive damages will not be considered.
IHL172-032-0120 includes the basic installation materials required to mount the actuator to the turbocharger.
Like all other Holset electronic actuators, these will still need to be calibrated to the turbocharger at time of installation.
