Bee Welder Inc., out of Omaha, Nebraska came a callin' for a final drive and an idler for a Komatsu PC220LC-3. Parts Specialist Mauricio Almendarez took the call.
"The customer said said someone stole his final drive. It's definitely not a good way to start your day, waking up to see a final drive is missing off your excavator," said Mauricio.
ConEquip Parts was able to quickly provide a new idler for Bee Welder for only $535. As for the final drive a used unit was likely going to be the only option available. Mauricio was gladly able to provide a reconditioned final drive off a Komatsu PC200LC for $5,150.
"The customer also needed a track adjuster. We had a new assembly for only $1595."
Mauricio was also able to give Bee Welder a nice discount on all the parts so in the end, the customer got a reconditioned final drive with motor, new idler and new track adjuster assembly for $7,775 delivered.
