Our Parts Specialist Ben received a call recently from a company needing angle cylinders for their Komatsu D51PX with part number 707-00-0G851. According to the customer named Carl, they popped the nut off one cylinder while the other completely failed.
"We don't minimize damage, we maximize," the customer Carl told Ben. They had a good laugh.
With a list price from Komatsu of more than $5000 for each cylinder, Carl was looking for a good used cylinder. He told Ben he had another option for used cylinders from another compnay for $4,000 each. Fortunately, Ben was able to beat that price by a bunch, providing two good used and inspected angle cylinders for $2500 each.
