Parts specialist Sam Ginavan here at ConEquip Parts received a call from a trucking company based in Melrose, Minnesota that had a John Deere 644H down and out on the job site. They told Sam the yoke linkage went out messing everything up from the transfer case to the front axle.
Once Sam had the trucking company on the phone he got into the parts book and about an hour later had all the parts identified needed to get the customer back up and running again.
It wasn't easy, Sam had to secure parts from four different locations but it was worth it as Sam was able to save the customer about $3,000 as all the parts new from the John Deere dealer would have been close to $5,200.
