Milton CAT equipment dealer opened a 13th location in the Northeast with a 40,000 sq. ft. facility in Tonawanda, NY.
The location will provide service to all Caterpillar machine owners in the Western New York region. From machine maintenance, parts, tools, hydraulic repair, and more.
The location also offers rentals and has a two-acre machine operation and demonstration area.
"We are extremely excited to serve and support the Buffalo area with equipment, machine control technology and timely service from our new state-of-the-art and strategically located facility. We are proud to call this historic site our new home and we look forward to carrying on Spaulding's legacy as an involved member of Tonawanda's business community," Machine Sales Manager Jason Pierce told Construction Equipment Guide.
Buffalo is known for cold weather so one area of the service shop has heated floors. There are also three in-floor scissor lifts with 12,000 lb. capacity, four cranes, five oil reels that dispense triple-filtered oil, and all the tools and equipment required to get the job done.
Caterpillar says virtually every part needed to keep machines running is stocked at the new facility. Parts that aren't there, will be shipped in overnight, reducing downtime.
Tonawanda is the first Milton CAT location in the Northeast with a SITECH Trimble site positioning technology.
