Hyundai Doosan showcased a new member of its iron family during a media event in Tucson, Arizona this week. Doosan showed off a prototype of its first crawler dozer. Doosan says one model will be ready to roll sometime next year.
The dozer on display was a 122-horsepower DD100 with an operating weight of 25,300 lbs. A second dozer, a DD130, will be introduced in the first half of 2023.
The Doosan DD100 will feature an 8-inch Smart Touch display, standard rearview camera, LED lights, and wiper blades front, rear, and side.
Doosan says the dozer will come with a 6-way variable-angle-pitch blade. The standard blade has a capacity of 3.0 cubic yards, and the low-ground-pressure configuration will carry a blade with a 3.4-cubic-yard capacity. Pitch angle can be adjusted from 54 to 58 degrees, and the blade has a shake function.

Company officials said the dozers are just two of many new models Doosan will be adding to its inventory over the next three years. Doosan will release almost a dozen new mini excavator models, including four electric models.

Doosan is now part of Hyundai but company officials say the two brands will continue to operate individually which means parts and service will be unique to each other.
