Case E Series Machines

Case Construction has introduced seven new E series excavators to its fleet.

The new excavator models all come with OEM-fit 2D and 3D machine control systems.

The seven new models for the North American market include:

CASE Excavator Net Horsepower Operating Weight
CX140E 102-HP 28,900-lbs.
CX170E 121-HP 38,400-lbs.
CX190E 121-HP 41,000-lbs.
CX220E 162-HP 52,000-lbs.
CX260E 179-HP 56,909-lbs.
          CX300E         259-HP 67,000-lbs.
          CX365E SR         205-HP 78,600-lbs.

The new lineup replaces five models and includes two new models, the CX190E and the CX365E SR.

Dozer blade and long reach models are also available in select configurations.

As with any new model from any maker, a major point of emphasis is operator comfort and new technology to make the machine more efficient.  The new E series machines have a 10-in. LCD display that provides access and visibility to cameras, machine data and controls. This includes the optional CASE Max View display, which provides 270 degrees of visibility around the machine.

Operators can customize the display to give them the information they are about the most including fuel consumption, machine information, auxiliary hydraulics and emissions controls. Hydraulic Flow Control Balance for the hydraulic system and attachment controls are also controlled through this display.

These excavators are equipped with a new suspended operator station that locks the seat and console together so that everything is set up the same for the operator every time he or she gets into the cab.

Case says they have added new FPT industrial engines and new enhancements to the hydraulic systems for power and performance.

Four new work modes (SP for Super Power, P for Power, E for Eco and L for Lifting) can be set in a range of up to 10 throttle settings, allowing operators to dial in performance to their work.

Case says the new Eco mode drives lower fuel consumption by as much as 18 percent compared to previous CASE excavators.

The CASE E-series excavators feature a combination of diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC), selective catalytic reduction (SCR) and particulate matter catalyst technologies.

Attachment use has also been dialed in even further with the ability to adjust hydraulic flows based on specific attachment types through the new display, and to set maximum overflow for each attachment.

New connectivity and telematics capabilities, including the SiteConnect Module along with the new SiteManager App (iOS and Android) increase machine performance.  This app pairs the operator’s phone or device to the machine to enable remote analysis.

Certified CASE technicians have the ability to diagnose the health of each connected machine.  Techs can determine if they need to come out on site to fix a problem or not.

The SiteConnect Module provides the data needed to make sure the machine is running the best it can.

Case says the E series also comes with a three-year CASE ProCare subscription at no extra cost.

ProCare allows business owners to invest in new equipment while making owning and operating costs predictable for the first three years of lease or ownership.
