Zeferino from North Carolina called in this summer looking for a final drive for his Caterpillar 311. Brian needed the serial number to confirm the drive was a match. Brian pulled up a serial number locator sheet to help Zeferino find the plate on his machine. As it turned out, Zeferino had a gray market CAT 311 so no matching serial number came up for Brian.
The next step was to have Zeferino get numbers off the tag on his final. Zeferino was able to provide part number 4I7333 right off the drive motor. Once Brian got that number he was able to confirm ConEquip Parts had a new replacement drive for the CAT 311 with a one year warranty for less than half of list price. A new final drive for this machine from CAT costs over $12,000.
Zeferino had the final drive five days later. It's great to have him as a ConEquip customer!
