Rubber Track Sizing

Many people run into trouble when sizing tracks for their crawler or track based construction equipment. Hi, I'm Ben with ConEquip parts and I'm here to show you accurately and correctly measure for your track machine or for your excavator. What were going to do first is we are going to measure the width of the track.
Which would be simply taking the tape measure... measuring across. This would be just about fifteen and three quarter inches (15 3/4").

Typically they use it in millimeters and we'll convert that later for you. Give us a call!

The next thing that you want to do, is you want to count the number of links that are on your track. and I'll show you how to do that here. So here we have put a track on the side to show you the inside of the track and what we need to do is have you count the number of links that are on the track.

For instance, this would be one link two links, three links, four links, and so on... all the way around the track. Also, we need to have what the industry calls "pitch amount" and that is measuring from the center of one link to the center of the other link.

We've got two and three quarter inch (2 3/4") for a pitch.

So give us all that information along with your model number and serial number and we will be able to get you a price.

So call us at 1-716-836-5069.

Thank you!
